Uses For Brown Rice Protein Powder

So you have your brand new, fancy pants brown rice protein powder... now what? Of course, you can toss it into some water and drink it old school, or you can get a little more creative. Here are five recipes to get you started. Chocolate Coconut Granola
  • 1 ½ cup rolled oats
  • pinch cinnamon
  • pinch salt
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1 scoop Naked Rice protein powder
  • ¼ cup shredded coconut
  • Chocolate chips (to taste)
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (180 degrees Celsius) and spray a large baking sheet with cooking spray. Combine all the dry ingredients (except the chocolate) in a large bowl and mix well. In a small bowl, melt the honey and coconut oil together in the microwave. Add the wet mixture to the dry and combine. Spread the granola in the baking sheet and bake for about 25 minutes. Allow to cool and stir in chocolate chips. High-protein Vinaigrette Since rice protein has little-to-no flavor, it can easily to hidden in surprising places: like salad dressing. This dressing will keep for about 3 to 5 days in the refrigerator but will need to be stirred before each use.
  • 1/4 cup brown rice protein powder
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp. flavorless oil (grapeseed, canola)
  • 1-2 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
Place all the ingredients in a blender and thoroughly combine them. Mocha Frappe Smoothie
  • 1/2 cup chilled coffee
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 scoop Naked Rice protein powder
  • Chocolate syrup (to taste)
  • Ice cubes (as needed)
Combine all ingredients in blender and mix thoroughly. Mixed Berry Smoothie
  • Frozen berries (to taste and as needed for desired texture)
  • ½ cup yogurt
  • ½ cup milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 scoop Naked Rice protein powder
Combine all ingredients in blender and mix thoroughly. Orange Protein Smoothie
  • 2 peeled oranges
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 scoop Naked Rice protein powder
  • Ice cubes (as needed)
